About Dr. Melanie Chapple
​
Melanie Chapple earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Washington College and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She completed an ambulatory care residency at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
​
Dr. Chapple served 15 years as a staff and clinical pharmacist at the University of Maryland Shore Regional Health (UMD SRH), which serves Maryland’s Mid-Shore region across five counties.
​
In 2016, Dr. Chapple moved to a transitions pharmacist in the Population Health Department at UMD SRH, where she partners with nurse navigators, leads medication reconciliation improvements, and consults with Shore Medical Group Primary Care.
​
Dr. Chapple also provides telehealth medication consults for Queen Anne’s and Talbot County Mobile Integrated Health teams and has developed senior center outreach programs across the five-county region.
