Maryland Access Point (MAP)
MAP is Maryland’s "No Wrong Door" Aging and Disability Resource Center, established as the single entry point for individuals seeking a range of community supports. Counselors at MAP offices help you navigate the complex system of services through individual, free, person-centered counseling.
MAP empowers individuals to navigate their health and support options by providing information on a full range of community resources and long-term care programs through personalized, objective assistance, enabling older adults, persons with disabilities, and caregivers to make decisions about meeting their current and future needs.
MAP counselors can refer people to community-based services to help those who live alone or with others to avoid nursing home stays.
