Meals on Wheels is a national nonprofit that delivers home-cooked, nutritionally balanced meals to eligible seniors aged 60 and older who are homebound. These are seniors who face hunger, isolation and other challenges that impact their health and well-being. The program also supplies meals to individuals with disabilities who cannot prepare or obtain proper nutrition on their own.

In addition to delivering nutritious meals, volunteers also frequently provide much-needed human connection with a smile and safety checks.

Importantly, income does not affect eligibility for the program.
